Watch Avatar (2009) 3-D movie
After all the waiting, the trailer for James Cameron’s Avatar 2009 is finally here. It’s hard to tell from the 2-D version just how much of the hype is justified, but what we can see is pretty amazing. Right off the bat there’s a pretty clear difference between seeing a production still of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) coming face to face with his avatar and seeing footage of the same thing.
The trailer starts out focusing on images of the human invaders and their world, their robots, their machines, etc. Next we get some shots of the process of linking a human and the hybrid avatar. Then finally the trailer brings in some action sequences from the jungle moon Pandora itself. One real standout is a totally amazing scene of a nearly naked alien Na’vi climbing onto the back of a colorful but menacing winged creature and riding off into the sky. Definitely a trailer worth watching more than once.
