Have you ever admired an actor for his intrepid courage in those astonishing action scenes? Do not go wrong because most of those impacting action moments are played by a stunt double, this is a person who resembles the actor physically but that it is specially trained to make difficult or risky scenes.

There is a common misconception when it comes to stunts because the name stunt is applied to both the person who performs a stunt and the stunt effects. Stunts are not only actions made in a dangerous context but also a series of special effects associated to imagery sounds and effects that thanks to technology make you see a dinosaur walking in New York like a real thing.

Stunts are made using scale models and false perspective panoramas that take a real dimension using the appropriate camera lens and special effects electronic devices that also produce the adequate atmosphere in a film set or over the scale model, as in example the foggy and scaring moments in a horror film.

Men and women with special skills, either natural or acquired, are called stunts, stunt double or stunt women or man. These performers were often the real stars under the shadow of an actor or actress name, but following the premise to give credit where credit is due, film producers make sure to include the credit of the stunts that participate in their movies.

Stunts are mostly associated to the film industry but they are also used in theatre and television productions. In the other hand, stunts are largely used in action films, although adventure, horror, and comedy movies, among other genres, can also take advantage of stunts and technology. In addition, certainly it is technology the main “actor” when it comes to stunts because those special effects are now so real if compared with the stunts of decades ago.

Perhaps some of the movies and TV series where stunts were first seen are those associated with Martial Arts, being Bruce Lee one of the first actors-stunts of the era since he was enough trained to make his own dangerous scenes in The Green Hornet TV series and in his Kung Fu films. Curiously, many of those Martial Arts movies performed by Chinese actor unknown in the Western world are truly gems of rudimentary stunt paraphernalia that make of dramatic scenes an opportunity to laugh.

UTube stunts video clips are an opportunity to enjoy many action moments coming from all type of genre films and shows including martial arts UTube. Some movies with memorable stunts moments include Ben-Hur, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Papillon, James Bond’s Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, and The Spy Who Loved Me, Hooper, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Romancing the Stone and many others.

Point your browser to www.utubevideoclip.com/videos/Funny_Videos/Funny_crashes_and_stunts and share the good times just like if you were “Back to the Future”, the trilogy movies where Marty McFly takes you through a sample of stunts applied to different periods of time.

Ever since video game designers were able to put red pixels on their imaginary characters that had recently deceased, there have been people crusading against their subversive ways. The outrage at video games seems to be cyclic, fading very briefly before exploding into the public eye once more with renewed frenzy. The controversy seems to have sparked up again in recent times, with numerous crimes being blamed on the corruptive influence of video games. There have also been various “controversies” surrounding recent video games and their content in the areas of both violence and sexuality.

The first game to receive widespread criticism and media attention was the martial art fighting game “Mortal Combat”. This game included large spurts of blood emitted from attacks and also “Fatalities” that could be performed on stunned opponents after their defeat. These Fatalities were gruesome animation sequences showing the victorious player killing their defeated opponent in a vast variety of ways. Gamers reveled in this new experience and the controversy surrounding the violence caused mass hype that informed the less informed gamers that the game was out there. Consequently gamers played the new game just to find out what all the talk was about, thereby greatly increasing revenue.

One of the largest sparks of controversy has been the recent “Hot Coffee” modification for “Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (GTA: SA)”. This involved unlocking a sexually oriented mini-game that had been removed from the game before release, although evidently not from the source code. The creators of the game, Rock star Entertainment, obviously realized that this particular part of the game was not appropriate for the video gaming public and removed access to it. An enterprising fan of the game found out and modified the original code to give access to the content once again. Lawsuits were brought against Rock star for including such content in their game, although the validity of the lawsuit has to be questioned. If the game is simply purchased and played as intended by the developers, this admittedly tasteless and inappropriate mini game would never be encountered. It is not until the user-made modification is downloaded and installed that the player is able to access the content.

Regardless of who’s to blame, “GTA: SA” was re-rated in America and banned from sale in Australia. Oddly enough the gratuitous and encouraged violence in the game went largely unnoticed in the wake of the “scandalous” sex scenes involving clothed, cartoonesque people.

When examined objectively almost all games contain a certain amount of violent content. The kid-friendly bright and colorful “Mario” games by Nintendo feature a character stomping on animated creature’s heads. In fact the majority of games, even children’s games, involve the protagonist crusading against an enemy horde of some sort and generally “disposing” of them in some manner, whether it is striking them with a weapon or body part (feet, hands, possibly a tail depending on the nature of the character). The only real stand out difference is that in a children’s game the ‘bad’ characters will generally bounce backwards in a cute manner and explode with a humorous puff sound (or simply disappear) whereas in a game oriented towards older mature players, the characters are more likely to be (somewhat) realistic, spraying a gusher of red upon their demise.

Whenever some young person somewhere commits a violent crime these days it seems to get blamed on a video game, from “Duke Nukem” and “Quake” being accused for the Columbine High massacre, to a more recent incident involving a group of minors attributing their violent actions to the “Mortal Combat” video games. Without any solid evidence either way it’s hard to say whether or not video game violence actually has much of an influence on players. To really be sure you’d probably have to have a control group of isolated children that have never seen a violent movie or played a bloodthirsty video game. History does however show that brutal crimes were committed long before video games or even movies came into existence.

Children are quite easily influenced by something that they’re excited about and I’ve seen this happen a lot. Playing a wrestling video game with a group of eight year olds often leads to the eight year olds screaming raucously and trying to pin each other down on the ground. Pre-teens will often punch and kick their way out of a cinema in terrible combat stances after having viewed a martial arts movie. The current content rating system in place is not geared towards consumer restriction; it is largely aimed at simply informing the public about what they are going to experience. Legal restrictions are not actually put in place until the higher, more severe ratings like in x-rated films. Parents, guardians, and society in general need to start taking an interest in who is viewing certain types of content. Instead of complaining about the entertainment a child is enjoying, the parent could be there at the beginning looking at the rating that is printed clearly on the packaging of all entertainment. A simple “I don’t think that’s suitable, how about this game? It has a lizard!” distracts the child a surprising number of times. In my experience, children genuinely just want people to take an interest in what they’re interested in, not just murmuring indistinctly, “Yes dear, that’s nice.” as the child installs the newest violent game.

What about the children that are playing the games in the restricted ratings categories? The only way that they can even get the game into their possession is if a parent (or someone of legal age) purchases the game for the child or if the store disregards the rating guidelines in place and sells it to them regardless. Either way the fact that a game’s content has fallen into a minor’s hands is not the fault of the game developer.

I’m not out to defend the integrity of artistic vision presented in video games as many other gamers are. Frankly there seems to me to be little artistic integrity in rendering blood that is ever more liquid in appearance. I do however enjoy playing some games that are quite violent in nature and in many cases the violent nature of the game increases my enjoyment. Video games are escapism, there’s (arguably) no point in playing a video game that simulates something you can just walk outside and do (and yet sports games somehow consistently sell in large numbers… curious…). Interestingly I have never yet felt the overwhelming desire to break down into a kung fu stance and commit murder. Perhaps more important than simply banning questionable content in video games would be studying why this content is so appealing to today’s society?

There is an inherent risk in the performance of all stunt work in film, TV and stage work. Daredevil performers are distinct from stunt performers and stunt doubles, as they perform their stunts solely for the sake of the stunt itself, often before an audience for their entertainment and private monetary gain for the event, while a stunt performer, or stunt double typically performs stunts meant for use in a motion photos or dramatized TV ( though one person could actually be both, as was the case with Harry Houdini, Jackie Chan, Tony Jaaand others ). Stunt performers and stunt doubles are usually skilled at performing physical action in personality for film and television.
Stunt doubles should be distinguished fromstunt performers, who perform stunts for the sake of the stunt alone, frequently as a career.
Stunt doubles for Eddie Murphy, John Wayne, Harrison Ford, Steve Martin and Michael Landon have been related to their lead actors for decades.
‘Stunt double’ is not the exclusive province of humans ; many dog actors are used as doubles, for example Enzo was the stunt double for his aging sire Moose on the comedy Frasier.Soccer, the dog who portrayed Wishbone, reportedly hated swimming and so had stunt doubles.

Circus Acrobatics
The word derives from the Greek akrobatos, which might be interpreted ‘walking on tiptoe’, but which means ‘to go to the highest point’ ( akros : highest ; batos, from the verb for ‘to go’ ). While the etymology is Greek, the performing art of acrobatics has roots in ancient Chinese culture, where it appeared in tribal rituals related to daily activities. Acrobatics
Art of jumping, tumbling, and balancing. The art is of traditional origin ; acrobats performed leaps, somersaults, and vaults at Egyptian and Greek events. The later use of apparatuses such as poles, tightropes, and flying trapezes made acrobatics a major attraction incircus performances. Its recognition increased in the 20 th century with such performers as the Flying Wallendas ( see Karl Wallenda ) .

Traditionally, acrobatic abilities were kept inside families and passed from parents to youngsters. This is still true especially among family circus groups nowadays. Many faculties concentrating on acrobatics art are providing a steady resource of acrobatic artists.

A stunt performer or stuntman is someone who performs dangerous stunts, regularly as a career.
These stunts are occasionally rigged so that they look dangerous while still having safety mechanisms, but often they are as dangerous as they seem to be. Daredevil performers are distinct from stunt performers and stunt doubles, as they perform their stunts solely for the sake of the stunt itself, often before an audience for their entertainment and private monetary gain for the event, while a stunt performer, or stunt double sometimes performs stunts intended for use in a motion footage or dramatized TV ( although one person could actually be both, as was the case with Harry Houdini, Jackie Chan, Tony Jaaand others ). Stunt performers and stunt doubles are generally skilled at performing physical action in personality for film and television.
A stunt double is a kind of body double, particularly a skilled replacement used for perilous film or video sequences, inmovies and TV ( such as leaping out of a building, jumping from car to automobile, or other similar actions ), and for other complex stunts ( particularly fight scenes ). Stunt doubles are often called’stunties.’
.

The Spy Next Door is one of the most anticipated movies of 2010. While there would a huge buzz around the cinema hall once the movie is released, eager fans cannot wait to witness their favorite actor in action. The movie features Jackie Chan as an undercover agent.

<noindex>Watch The Spy Next Door Free</noindex>

The reputation of Jackie Chan to amuse the audience has been unwatched over the years. As such, the movie is a blend of action and comedy, and every individual out there knows for sure that Jackie Chan is the ideal choice for such movies.

With around two weeks in hand for the movie to be released in the United States on 14th January, the movie has already created a roar amongst the audience across the world. Not to forget the fact, that in some countries the movie will release in the month of April. Until then, unless you reside in the United States, you will not be able to witness your star in action on 14th January.

However, this doesn’t kill the options available at your disposal. One can still watch The Spy Next Door free of cost without having to wait desperately until the release date. As such, most people are aware of the fact that there are many websites through which one can download and watch movies for free within the four walls of their house.

If you are one amongst the eager fans who cannot hold yourself until the movie is released in your city, then you can also try this method and watch The Spy Next Door free without even stepping out of your doorsteps.

While it’s no fun exposing such information, but the fact still remains that most people out there are aware about this option. All it takes is a little bit of research work to lay your hands on a good website and then download the movie so that you can watch The Spy Next Door free of cost. Of course, the same principle applies if you want to watch any other movie free of cost.

Coming to the film, The Spy Next Door has the element of comedy, action, great star cast and a good story line. The story involves Jackie Chan fighting against terrorists for a noble cause. The film also features Amber Valletta as Jackie Chan’s girlfriend. It won’t be against odds to expect exemplary performances from these actors, and to expect a good time while watching this movie.

The association of Jackie Chan itself is a selling point for the movie, however, the director is said to have done a great job in this movie. This is one amongst the prime reasons why individuals are so desperate to see this movie.

Once you lay your hands on the source of this movie, watch The Spy Next Door free of cost, and cherish these moments. After all, we live in world where it’s often said that nothing in life comes free or easy. We are simply defying this claim by happily watching the most anticipated movie of 2010.

Some of the funniest fight video clips that I have ever seen on TV are related to fighting, whether boxing moments, wrestling moments, martial arts moments, or drunken guys fighting. However, I could not find any of these videos online until I discover the Funny Fight Clips at UTubeVideoClip.com.

Sometimes simulated sometimes for real fights between two guys who are not mad but under the effects of excessive alcohol ingestion are comical. There is an old Chinese film starred by Jackie Chan during his old days as a Hong Kong superstar in 1978. Being essentially a drama, Drunken Master is a movie that portrays young Jackie learning the ancient martial style of the “The Eight Drunken Immortals” mythical Chinese gods.

According with to the real tradition, those gods appear in China during the Tang Dynasty between the years 618 and 917. Originally known as the Eight Immortals of the Wine Cup, they were widely known for being in love with alcoholic beverages and there is a female figure among them. Overtime the Eight Immortals also received the name of Eight Immortals Indulged in Wine and the Shaolin temple developed the style that is taught to Jackie Chan by and old drunk master performed by Simon Yuen, who was his martial arts teacher in real life.

Whoever has watched a Jackie Chan’s movie at least once in life should know that he has always incorporated comedy moments in almost all of his movies, before and after his arrival to Hollywood. Drunken Master in not an exception and just the fact of a female goddess among the Eight Immortals make you enjoy a very funny fighting sequence when the lazy student Jackie Chan tricks his teacher skipping the learning of the female fighting manners being forced to improvise them when the final fighting to defeat an assassin takes place.

Wine is not certainly a good friend of human or divine body reflex or special skills so the fighting movements of each god are funny by itself. The Chinese Poet Du Fu wrote a poem about the Eight Drunken Immortals describing who they were: He Zhizhang, Li Jin, Li Shizhi, Cui Zongzhi, Su Jin, Li Bai, Zhang Xu, and Jiao Sui, who were real living people during the Tang Dynasty as well.

As an undisciplined student, Jackie Chan provides numerous UTube funny video clips that their fans love to share, and because all his former Chinese movies are plotted around martial arts stories, there are many opportunities to see a funny fight moment, although Drunken Master is a classic among those people who laugh aloud with the clumsiness of a drunken guy.

Multiply that fun for Eight Drunken Immortals and mix female manners during fighting time to enjoy an incredible funny UTube moment. However, it is not only about martial arts or Hong Kong movies; any funny fight clips have an open space for upload, share, and watch at utubevideoclip.com. Of course, if you are one of the lucky owners of the original Jackie Chan martial movies, take advantage of it and take some funny clips to share with us.

Qigong Video Reveals Ancient Secrets

So, Yoshi, thats your new training style? Sit On Your Ass Kung Fu?

A lot of martial artists are disparaging of anything they dont learn in a dojo, and perhaps with some justification. However, after I beat the crap out of my feet doing dumb things learning about footwear (see my article on footwear for more. I do stupid things so you dont have to. Or, at least, thats what I tell myself), I needed some time doing something else. Now, doing something else doesnt mean I skip learning about Martial Arts. So, with my feet propped up and under ice to keep the swelling down, I started looking at tai quigong videos. Hey, I could persuade my wife that it was business related. She didnt buy that when I was watching Jet Li in Hero for some reason.

Jet Li is a practitioner of Tai Quigong, among his other styles, and you can see how its impacted what hes working on. Tai quigong is, in many ways, like rhythmic yoga. It stresses flexibility and range of motion, rather than hard, sharp movements. Its a foundational skill sit, focusing on breathing and qui management, and is good for improving energy levels and health in general.

And since it doesnt actually need a dojo with falling mats, its not bad for learning off of a video. Yes, I know, thats heresy learn a martial art from video? More seriously, the video lets you pause and slow down the motions, and since tai quigong focuses on one set of motions at a time, it lets you focus on form and meditation while you do the exercises.

Of course, it doesnt do you any good to watch these videos while sitting on your ass on the couch, so my buddy Stu really did have a point when he came by to visit. We got up, cleared the living room floor and tried following along. Let me tell you, both of us, veterans of hard styles, found it a surprising workout to go through the motions slowly. My feet were still bruised to two shoe sizes to large, so that mightve been why I was moving like a 98 year old man with bursitis, but Stu was breathing hard and trembling halfway through the first set. Moving your body slowly and breathing takes a lot out of you!

On the flip side, with no punches, no kicks, and no beating parts of your body into hard unyielding targets, and no rapid movement, it was suitable for doing at home, in spite of the strenuous workout. And a darn site safer to the furniture. (Let me tell you, street gangs have got nothing on an angry wife when you knock a lamp into the bar by trying to show someone a move in the living room!)

So, if you cant make it to the dojo, or are just wanting to tone up before getting to the dojo, check out some tai quigong videos and work it out, nice and slow and careful. Youll be glad you did!
